The winners of the annual Construction News Workforce Awards were announced tonight in a gala ceremony at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Park Lane.
Categories showcased individual and organisational initiatives to improve employment practices and make construction a great industry to work in.
The night brought together the brightest workforce talent and recognised those making a difference in recruitment, staff development, wellbeing, diversity, inclusion and more.
Winners were recognised across 21 categories, with the chosen companies and individuals impressing a panel of 33 expert judges.
About 360 people attended the ceremony, which was hosted by CN deputy editor Ben Vogel.
“Tonight’s winners highlight excellence in inspiring leadership, top-tier employee wellbeing, impactful apprenticeships, and transformative EDI initiatives,” he said.
“Each category showcases those who are not only meeting today’s challenges but also shaping the future of construction through innovation, inclusivity, and a commitment to building a stronger industry for everyone.”
Four companies picked up two trophies apiece: Colas, Flannery Plant Hire, GMI Construction and McLaren.
The Workforce Team of the Year award went to McGee, while Kori Construction picked up the Best Place to Work trophy.
