McLaren has launched its next chapter with its new £2 million W1 supercar that succeeds the P1.
The W1 features a 4.0-litre V8 hybrid engine that sends 1,258bhp to the rear wheels for a 0-62mph time of 2.7 seconds.
The mild-hybrid comes with a small 1.4kWh battery that can be used as a reverse gear, allows silent start-up and has a zero emissions range of 1.6 miles.
The Surrey-based supercar specialist will start production in Woking in 2026 and only 399 examples will be made.
Every W1 has already been sold to buyers and enthusiasts that have already raised their hands to secure one of these new supercars.
Each W1 is expected to be priced above that £2m base price due to “virtually unlimited” bespoke personalisation options through McLaren Special Operations.
All W1s come with a four-year and unlimited mileage warranty, as well as a complimentary four-year service plan.
McLaren has a franchised dealer network of 11 locations, covering major cities across the UK, including London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow.
