People exchange red envelopes for good luck. Lunar New Year symbolizes renewal, and the zodiac animal changes yearly.
Why is 2025 the Year of the Snake?
2025 is the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac. The zodiac follows a 12-year cycle with each year represented by a different animal. Legend says the order was determined by a race.
The snake in the Chinese zodiac is special because it represents wisdom, change, and mystery. People born in the Year of the Snake are clever, thoughtful, and often very good at solving problems.
